Default RPM? Cluster?

Hi everybody, the problem just come out in a few months ago. The RPM needle sometimes point to zero when its idle. Sometimes normal and all the way fine of the RPM when I accelerate. What is this problem? Cluster? or any other things?

i have a 92 lx and i have the same problem! not sure how to fix it, hopefully someone will help us out man!

No, it's not normal, try a known working cluster and see if the problem persists - or plug that cluster into somebody else's car - the plugs are the same on all '92-'95 civics. The tach head is probably going out.

It's probably the tach, not the car's actual idle.

Yes, if the car is idling at 0 RPM it's not on .

anyway it can be repaired? i would like to have my factory tach back but if not ill install a aftermarket tach!

Heh, I forgot he said it was at 0 rpm and not irratic.
