eg halo headlight install help
i'm trying to figure out how to install the halo headlights into my eg. there's 2 halo rings in each headlight. i'm guessing white wire would be ground and red would be power. now i'm guessing the each red wire should be tapped into the corner light harness. i just need to know if it's the red or green wire to tap into. 3 wires on the oem corner light harness. 1 ground, 1 signal, 1 marker.

You should figure out first if your white and red wires are actually power / ground. If so, you should be able to hook them up to any 12v source. I would just try to see what works and what doesnt. The three wire harness that goes to your corner lights would be as follows: one ground, one switched 12v, one 12v source. One wire will make the halo's stay on constantly (as long as its grounded), the other will be swiched from the running light inside.

Re: (jimwross)
well the red and white wire is for the halo ring. red is power and white is ground. i need to know which wire to tap into on the oem corner light harness for constant power to keep the halo rings on. that's why i'm hoping someone knows if it's the red or green wire is the constant power wire i need to tap into.

DON'T CUT THE BLACK PIECE OUT OF THE WIRING!!! There should be a black shrink wrap piece inline somewhere on the wires, it's a resister. I'm an idiot and didn't realize that and the wires were long so I cut them to make them look a little better and plugged them up and POW blew them. So I had to take them all apart and put new LED bulbs in them and resistors, it sucked really bad. Good luck

Whats up, the red wires from the halo's go to the red with black strip wire from your corner light, and your white wires from your halos get connected to you black wire from the corner light. Real easy install, any problems give a shout.

PS. If your going to be using HID's i suggest selling those lights, i have them now and the beam pattern is horrible because of the "blue ion" effect.
