Default Eg cluster removal question.

When removing the cluster is it nessesary to plug the srs wire with the short connector before removing the cluster?

you do need to unplug it but you dont need to plug it back on unless you want that light on all the time. I have a jdm cluster and it doesnt have one

I mean do i have to go undernneath the steering wheel switch the srs connectors before i pull the cluster out. or can i just leave all that stuff alone and just pull the cluster out

all you need are the wires that are connected to the cluster and your set

I cant seem to get the black cover off. I took out the 3 screws and i cant pull it out. Am i missing something?

it has clips on the bottom and top so u have to use a flat head to pop them out. be careful u can break it lol.
