EG civic Overheating HELP PLEASE!!!!!!
I have an overheating problem with my eg civic coupe dx. Every time I drive and have to sit in traffic (live in LA and traffic is unnavoidable) my temp gauge starts to rise, I usually notice it once it almost hits the red and turn the heater on full blast. I have been lucky so far, but it has been hella hot and I wanna fix it. The fan wont turn on so when i pull over i have a half full radiator and an overflowing reservoir. I bypassed the connections and hooked the fan up to the battery and it turned on so its still good but I dont know what to look for next. I have a haynes manual that says to check the relays, fuses, wiring but doesn't tell me where they are. Someone please help!!!!!!!!!!
