eg civic overheating...
my 93 civic overheats always....
they say it could be all that gunk and krap in my radiator...
and my friend says that it could be the thermostat...but i changed the thermostats not so long ago...and when it overheats real bad and high reving wont bring it down...its too low on water...(most of the time high reving brings the temp down...)

if your radiatior is all clogged up thats probably your problem, you could go and get a new one and see if thats the problem. and make sure that your fan is working.
