Default ecu and wiring harness compatibility

i have a 00 ex and im doing a b18b swap im wondering if the 97 ls ecu will working with my existing wiring harness? because i know the 98 civic ex will work with the 96 and up ls ecu..just making sure the 99-00 civic also works with the 96+ ls ecus

oh yea and i got a question too..for whoever can answer..same topic..will the 99/00 b16a2 engine harness plug into a 92-95 DX strut tower harness where it connects to the car..or chassis..on both sides? i know the obd2 ecu wont work down below..at the feet..but im wondering about the motor harness to a 93 dx's strut tower harness that runs threw the car..?? anyone..thanks

No, but a 96+ OBDII Integra engine harness will. They are still a 2 part harness like the OBDI vehicles.

No, you will need the 99-00 for plug n' play.

because i know the 98 civic ex will work with the 96 and up ls ecu...just making sure the 99-00 civic also works with the 96+ ls ecus
The 96-98 OBDII plug styles are the same. 99-00 changed slightly and is somtimes referred to as OBD2.5

whats the ecu code for the 99-00 ls and the 96-98 ls?
