ecu question

I just recently got a 2000 si, and im looking at just adding a few things nothing to crazy. Well a friend had mentioned that i should swap out the ecu for a p72 out of a gsr. Would this work, would it plug right up and work. Oh and its obd2. thanks for the help huys

some of P72s will plug right in, but it will make the car run worse and you'll get crap mileage.
