ECU QUESTION
ok i got a GSR swap in ym EG, ECU is getting chipped right now looking for spares right now, was wondering if any other OBD1 ECU's will work on my car that isnt vtec, oh ya will automatic ECU's work to?, but ya i jus need answers thx guys

stock gsr motor? auto ecu's won't work unless u chip it.. i think its just soldering something and moving it... technically the car would run but real shitty and you'll hit the limiter in "first gear" in an auto.. i think mine hit the limter at like 5500 when i ran an auto ecu temporarily. non-vtec ecu's obviously won't engage vtec but the car will run... how well.. not sure. just find stock p72 as a spare. anything else would need to be chipped. chipped p28 is the way to go which i'm assuming is what you're doing.
