Re: ECU HELP (peck1005)
Stock ECU will not work
You need something that is chipped. Contact either http://www.xenocron.com or http://www.phearable.net/ and they can help you out with buying one

Re: ECU HELP (peck1005)
You car will run fine with what ever ECU you are running now as long as the turbo kit is installed properly. If you plan on running up to 18 lbs then you will want to get some sort of standalone ECU management. I am partial to Hondata but there are others out there. Check out the forced induction forum on this site for more information.

Re: ECU HELP (VTEC-DA)
I have a question for you. I have a ECU that i was told came out of a 96 model civic how do you check to see if its for a 96 or a different year. They said it was for a single over head cam vtec will it work on a 92 honda with a D15B single over cam VTEC?

I don't know how to tell what specific year it came from, but if the sticker on the ECU says something like
37820-P2E-A02
its from a 96-00 DX/CX
If its something like: 37820-P2P-A01
Its from a 96-00 EX.
Neither ECU will plug into a 92 Civic without a conversion harness. And it prob not run correctly and throw a check engine light.
If you got a JDM D15B in your car, look for a P28
