I would send it out to get setup to accept one of the well known stock honda rom editors. My personal preference is Neptune. I can help you out if you wish. But to run that much boost, expect to upgrade your map sensor to something like a GM 3 bar or Motorola 2.5 bar.

where online can i get a map sensor from? i am in Iraq right now but will be home in like 18 days, so i would like to order everything and what else would i have to do to my ecu to run 12-18 lbs. or would it be better to run 8-10 lbs on the stock ecu. i also have a nitrous kit i am going to be spraying into the intercooler will that make a diff. on what ecu i need? thanx

http://www.xenocron.com has the sort of ECU-based stuff everyone is recommending, from Neptune to the DIY gear that is it's cousin.

As for what sort of engine management? An OBD1 ECU that's been appropriately modified. You need to do a bit of research on tuning options as it's a bit of a complex subject to make an off the cuff post about.

i just got a 2.5 bar map sensor to run the boost i want. Is the right chiped & programed ECU the only other thing i need? i am going with 10-15 lbs also i will be spraying a small shot of nitrous (dry 30 shot or so) into the intercooler. like i said i have 450cc inj. with a fuel reg. thanx for the info on the map sensor

You will just need the chipped ecu and someone that can tune it.

i found a ECU it is a p13 with:

UPGRADED AIR/FUEL RATIO
ADVANCED TIMING,
DUAL STAGE VTEC ENGAGEMENT@ 4600rpm"s/5800rpm's (vtec pulls VERY hard)
REV LIMITER@ 9600rpm"s
NO SPEED LIMITER
FOR M/T ONLY

what is the diff. between a chiped p72 and a chiped jun p13 ECU? on the web sight it said the p13 would work with the GSR engine.

send your ECU here: http://www.phearable.net/ecutuning.html

and get it socketed and chipped with basemap for YOUR SPECIFIC setup. Then when you get your ecu back you will be able to drive your car but you wont be able to really get on it because it is still UNTUNED. You are going ot have to find a local tuner in your area to tune your car for your setup
