DX exhaust compared to Ex exhaust

DX exhaust compared to Ex exhaust
Ive noticed the dx and ex exhausts are listed separetly, is the piping shorter or longer, whats the diff, could i fit a dx ex huast on my exhaust?? with mod

yea for a 98 coupe i think the emissions is different like the cat. convertor maybe be in the head pipe or sumt.

This is true...I was absent minded when I read this and was strictly thinking of the muffler, not the rest of the exhaust.
The DX exhaust manifold does incorporate a catalytic converter inside of it, whereas the EX has the catalytic converter directly after the exhaust manifold like most cars do (Si's, Integra's, etc). Other than that, which isn't much, it's the same.

if your looking for a better oem exhaust manifold for your car an 00 ex exhaust manifold would be your best bet. it is a tubular exhaust manifold and resembles an aftermarket header, if you look around i'm sure you could get one pretty cheap off of someone that got a header.
