now i know there have been 100million post's about this but theres sooo much bs i cant find exactly what i want. I have a 98 civic obdII i think. What swap would be the easiest, and could still pass emissions and such?

any 96 and newer obdII engine should be a pretty easy swap, a obdII integra motor will probably be the best bang for the buck and is pretty much a bolt in swap

well you can either buy a new one at the dealer (if you are a RICH a$$ ****) or go to junk yards. <----your best bet .....ebay is good but you are taking risks!

Re: swap? (userdead626)
call junkyards in your area and tell them u r looking for a complete b16a2 changeover (engine, tranny, ecu, dizzy, im, etc). not sure how much they go 4 in the houston area.

well try for your self. It's pretty much common sense when you call them. Tell them you want axles, the engine assembly, transmission (not tranny, some are gonna say, "what the hell is that"..LMAO), shift linkage, alternator, and other morotr stuff you need. Since you own a car i am pretty sure you should know what else you need. And buy the ECU from ebay, it's much cheaper .

Re: swap? (*****est_raver)

Re: swap? (userdead626)
huh? please type a little bit better.
its better to do it all at once so you dont have time to lag on the project! Or if you are dedicated you can piece it together. All on your preference, I'd say do it all at once or within one week if you have the budget, makes life easier. Not to mention no lag on the project!
PM me and i'll give ya a list of parts you need. With a 98 like mine, it'll be a bolt on, IF you have an EX (D16Y8), if not then you are gonna have to do some rewiring for the V-tech.
