dx to ex cluster swap
okay im planning on getting an ex/si cluster on my dx cuz it sux not having a rpm meter. couple of questions. how challenging can the wiring be? i suck w/ that stuff. can anybody point me to a write up? in this other write up some guys said that he was threatend cuz some guy followed the writeup and his motor blew up. wtf! how is that possible? last of all is there any way to change the mileage. for real this is not a trick on rolling back and selling cars just dont want one w/ a wierd *** number. help me out guys.

The EX/Si cluster is plug and play. There is no need for wiring. As for the mileage, you can swap the whole speedometer assembly from your DX cluster onto the EX cluster and you'll retain your mileage. You need to remove the plastic cover and unscrew a few screws behind the cluster that holds in your speedometer. Swap the gauge over and screw it back in.
