Swapping Odometers
i bought a 2000 ex cluster for my 98 dx. and i want to match the odometer. is it easier so set the od on the ex cluster or to swap the od from my dx cluster to my ex cluster?

well it depends on how many miles apart they are but id say its easier to just swap it. all you do is pop off the clear cover, take out the black cover, take out the three or four screws in the back and unscrew the odometer, then reverse for installation. i might have put some wrong information, but either way your going to have to take it apart, and you should be able to figure it out once you se it.

Not if you are trying to match the actual mileage on the car.
OP: Just swap the speedometer/odometer gauge from the DX cluster into the EX housing. Simple as that.
