OBD2 B16A2 Swap Question.....
I got a couple of questions about swaping engine, I bought a 00 Civic Si 1.6L DOHC VTEC which is OBD-2 Engine and a P2T ECU without wiring harness. I want to swap it in to my 93 Civic CX Hatchback which is OBD-1 car. What do i need to put the B16A2 Engine to OBD-1. can i still use the P2T ecu even though it's a ODB-2. Also if i do go to obd1 do i have to get 94-95 GS-R injectors or 95 Civic SiR injectors. also what are the cons of having OBD-1 or OBD-2 Engine...... Help out swap guys

Re: OBD2 B16A2 Swap Question..... (Radyjr)
you need 94-00 integra motor mounts
92-95 civic wire harness
p30 or chipped p28 ecu
you can use the obd2 injectors but you have to modify the plug, or get obd1 injectors
also the search button on the top right helps alot

stock p28 around 100 buck give and take.
you said bolt on = big boost and built internals right? if not then good luck and all motor then don't know what to say.

well 500 whp you need a built bottom end, and take the p28 and get hondata or neptune
and your bolt ons better be turbo
all motor you will be lucky to get 170 whp with a b16a and boltons

Easiest way to do it get an obd2 gsr engine harness. It will directly plug into all the sensors on the b16 and will directly plug into the civic chassis harness. You can keep the distributor and everything else on the b16 that is obd2 because the gsr harness will plug in without the need to rewire anything and the chassis plugs are the same for the civic and integra. All you will have to do is and vtec wires (if not already present). Then use a chipped p28. Theres a big post on this swap somewhere on here ill see if I can find it.
