Default DSM guy needs some honda help (rwd hatch)

sup guys. im from the dsm camp and do not know much about hondas, so i came here. i had a question regarding a rwd hatch. this friend of mine has some wild idea about putting an s2000 engine into an EG hatch. i did some searching and found this https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=482252 and the concensus was that not many people have done it. i told him it was a waste of money and he says he is doing it anyway. is he full of it or what? how much would something like this run? i told him it would be probably be cheaper to put in an RB25 into a 240.

PS: i could not post this in the lounge area. i read the terms and did not see anything about this. maybe since i dont have any posts or something?? im guessing its the trial user thing

Big time waste of money, unless he is rich, I wouldn't waste my time and $$.

He is full of it.

Like I said in the post you linked......I know it can be done....the car won't be street legal and it will cost $20,000 in chasis modification labor and rear end parts.

The engine is a different cost as well.

Think about it this way. If it costs $15,000 to swap a K20 into a 5th or 6th gen Civic which is a FWD engine. It's pretty obvious it will cost a stupid amount to convert a FWD chasis to RWD.
