Default Drivers Side blinker is fast

I have a 93 Del sol Si. The problem I'm having seem to start when it got colder outside. But my drivers side blinkers will be rapidly whenever I first get into the car like a bulb is burnt out. However, they are all still blinking. It only does this for about 5-10mins and then it goes back to normal, and it's only when I first start the car. Also, the hazards are normal as well.

The bulbs in the turn signals are just regular bulbs. I do have LED bulbs in my fog lights but that is the only place I have an LED bulb. I guess it's not a huge deal as long as it's working, but I would like to figure out what's going on.

From what I have noticed when you swap to led bulbs they blink faster because the LEDs use less voltage causing the signal relay to think one is burnt out. It's hit and miss. But every once in a while it does it to me when I do that for friends. I even went backwards to regular bulbs and it was good, put the LEDs back in and then it was fast again.

The circuit doesn't have the proper amount of resistance. You can easily solve this by finding out the stock resistance in the circuit and also the resistance in the LED lights in there currently. Once you know both of them, figure the difference and add a resistor to the circuit to compensate...problem solved

He said he has LED FOG LIGHTS not turn signals!

Your turn signal relay is starting to wear out. No big deal. When it finally quits the turn signal will probably just stay on when you flip the lever. Just buy a new one, pop the old out, pop the new in.

You would have to check, but the fog lights could also be part of the same circuit. I didnt read that part carefully enough the first time...
