driveability problem
my hatch is giving me a lil bit of a problem, i mentioned this a year ago as well. under mild acceleration the car will bog and it feels like it will cut out but if you lean into the gas a bit harder it clears up. i have no cels and last year when it did the same thing i had no cels. i ditched my msd box thinking it was that, still ng so i proceeded to replace the cap, rotor, and plugs. my hatch still has the y7 with a z6 intake manny, and the usual i/h/e along with a z6 tranny (i don't see how the tranny could cause a problem). i have noticed it seems to do it more when its cooler outside, could an iat do this? anyone have any idea's?

werd, at your local automotive store i.e. Pep Boys they sell a flush for clogged injectors. you pour it in the gas tank and it flushes out the system. It works like Draino

You say you replaced your cap, wires and rotor, but have you changed your coil yet? My 93 Si was giving me the same problem and it was the factory coil ******* around on me. It's a real common problem in our cars.

I believe you test it using a volt meter and a Helms manual following their proceedure but yes they "do just act up like that". Good time/excuse to go with an external MSD type of coil upgrade.

Re: (00Red_SiR)
i was actually just thinking the same thing as you, i'll just go to an external coil since i know its alot cheaper than an oem replacement. thanks for the help i'll be ordering one asap, i'll let you know how it goes.
