obd1 p72 gsr ecu code 7 and 23 Problem
I just recently installed a p72 ecu on my 95 hatch with gsr motor.. i was recently running a p28 and it was throwing codes 7 ( TPS ) and code 19 ( Automatic Tranny valve opening or closing something ).. once i put in the p72 ecu now its throwing codes 7 ( TPS ) again and code 23 ( knock senor ).. i looked under my hood and looks like the TPS is broken and electric tape is on there to hold it .. how do i come upon fixing these problems so that i dont have an engine check light at all.? and when i installed the obd1 p72 it runs way stronger but idles a bit lower an when it idles it goes from 600 - 1000.. and shakes the car? what fuel should i be running on it.. i ran 93 premium all the time from Sonocco's ( how ever you spell it ).. and just put in 90 from citgo because gas price is high high high.. 2.08 for 90 and 2.29 for 93 at sonoccos.. help me answer my questions.. sorry for so many.. thanks

Well get some butt connectors and a crimp and start fixing the wires. Match the colors. Or you can solder them and heat shrink.
You need to check at the ECU that the knock sensor wire is in the right location. I'm not sure if it is.. my friends GSR hatch is having the same problem with code 23 so we're going to check that on Friday. I think it needs to be repinned.
