Default Dremel experts please chime in!!

I'm going 2 be cutting off my 99 civic front bumper tommorow 2 fit my intercooler and I wanted 2 know what cut off wheel does every use or if any1 suggest which one I should get...

I use regular disc that come with my dremmel kit. Just go slow its very easy to cut through the plastic. If you go fast youll go through disc. like crazy.

IMO, the fiber reinforced ones are gold when doing this sort of thing.
you can run with the cheaper sand ones but if you bind or kink them in any way they snap.

also use a slow speed because it can melt the plastic

Fiber reinforced ones are pretty salty on price.. believe its like $7 for 4 or 5 of them. i use them in my retrofits

You can use either the fiber discs(as others have mentioned) or a carbide(?) cutting bit. The bit is a little more but it's a good reusable bit, unlike the discs where if you screw up it's toast.

ya it doesn't list metal but I'm using it to cut my plastic front bumper lower grill not any metals...

the diamond wheel is sleek...it'll give you a very sharp cut and less melt compared to the fiber cutting wheels. as for a place to buy either cutting disk, check out your local sears or home depot. goodluck!
