dragging disc brake?
my 93 sol has a problem with the left rear disc brake dragging.ive replaced both caliphers, the brake pads and rotors, and the rubber brake line on the dragging side.the sliding points are lubed and all the other brakes release o.k. is it possible that the rod in between the master cylinder and the booster is adjusted too long?if not what am i forgetting?oh yeh, when i crack open the bleeder screw on that side it releases just enough to quit dragging but i cant drive it like that and when i tighten the screw and use the brakes it starts dragging again.i was thinking a defective calipher on that side but that seems far fetched since i have relaced it once already with no improvement...

If you release the pressure and it stops dragging, you definately have a master cyl problem or it's as you thought, adjusted too tight on the rod. I had exactly that problem, turned out to be the adjustment rod ws a tad too long. Back it off to the recomended free play, can't remember what it was, but the pedal has to be free for 1/4" minumum. Jack up the car and touch the pedal, see if it locks imediately, adjust it till its free. It's a bitch to get at as it's up under the dash on the top of the pedal bracket.
You may have air in your lines that's expanding just enough (with heat) to make that one drag.

Been through this a number of time when the car was on the street. Replace the left caliper. You can pull the small clip and remove the pin for the E brake cable and the problem goes away. Had the same problem on one of our crews Integra's, only on the right rear.
