Dome light won't come on as doors are opened

Dome light won't come on as doors are opened
Heres my situation.
1999 Honda Civic Special Edition Canadian Model
Driver door: Harness completely dead. Mo wires going into doors.
Passenger Door: Speakers work, keyless entry wire are broken.
Keyless entry doesn't work at all.
The Dome light: works when switch is in the "on" position. I believe the car chimes when the door is open and the key is still in the ignition.
Since so many wires are ruined, and keyless is dead, am I SOL when it comes to the dome light coming on with the doors?

There is three setings on your dome light the on position the middle position is where the light comes on when the doors are opened and the of position, so just set it in the middle position and your set, mine is a 98 Canadian model to

Off-off
on-light turns on
Door- light should turn on with open doors, but doesn't turn on when doors open.

Alright Sorry for the lack of information. Due to a very (very) stupid reason, There is no harness going to my car driver door. Just a bunch of cables tied up in the driver door jamb. (very annoying. Don't even have a driver door speaker). I was wondering if the door harness is linked to the dome light. If it is, then I can't really fix it (as of right now, without a new harness.)

^^x2 the switch that tells the car that the drivers side door is opened is in the door jamb itself, the wire for it runs behind the plastic panel thats behind the drivers seatbelt, runs down the running boards (plastic piece that is on the bottom of the door jamb), then runs up under the dash to the rest of the wiring harness. so essentially, it has nothing to do with the wires that run in to the drivers side door, but id suggest that you fix those wires.
