I am looking for some cheap junk yard wheels for my EG hatch. They have to be 13" wheels. Do you guys know if Honda ever made 13x6 or even 13x5.5?

Yea but how wide are they? For some reason I think they are 13x5? I would really like a 6" wide wheel so I can fit a wider tire.

yeah, i don't think the 13 inch stockers are that wide at all. maybe 5 or 5.5 inches wide. You'll prolly have to look for some drag racing wheels if you want that size. My buddy is getting a set of wheels soon for that purpose. I think borbets, but not sure. maybe he'll see this post.

I think most 13" Honda stockers are 5" wide.

Ok from everyone I talked to Honda never made a 13x6" wheel.

But some guys I talked to think the 85-87 CRX Si came with 13x5.5 Alum 4 spoke wheels. Can anyone confirm this?

Also I would like to know definitly how wide the CX and VX wheels are. Does anyone have some laying around without tire that could measure for me?

Only the G1 Integra offered 14X5.5 in both alloy and steel during that time (Civic/Integra group).

CX - 13X5 steel
VX 13X4.5 alloy

I have a VX wheels and if I am almost positive that they are 13x4.5. I run 185's on them and that is widest you can go (safetly).

You should just get some 12"x4" steel wheels off of a Metro.

Are you sure this is 5" wide? Some of the guys over on the CRX board think they are 5.5" wide. BTW do you know what the offset of these are?

There's a company called Williamette Wheels that you can send some stock wheels do, and they will cut off the rims and put on their own lightweight ones in whatever width you want. They're pretty cheap, too. They're in Oregon. Lots of local autocrossers (miata and civic) use their 13x8 and 13x9 setups.

if you just want a wider tire, go ahead and use a 13X5 wheel if you already have them. I had about 5 different sets of 205/60/13's on my 13X5 wheels, never had a problem with the tire popping the bead.

I have the stock VX wheels from my 92 VX and they are 13" x 5". They are very light and a decent looking wheel, made by Enkei too I'm sure that there aren't any stock 13" Honda/Acura wheels that are 6" wide. The 99-00 Si and 94+ GS-R are 6" wide but they are 15" wheels. You could also get the 96+ HX wheel which is basically the VX style but in a 14" x 5 1/2".
