the oem and depo foglights are wired up differently. the oem gets power from the fusebox and the depo gets power from the battery. the depo instructions won't help you, they basically cut and pasted from the official oem instructions so it doesn't mention connecting to the battery, had to figure that one out on my own.
hope that made sense, i'm tired

Yes, it can work with OEM fogs and switch. The harness is just a bunch of wires that give power to the fogs. There's nothing special about OEM wires. The plugs wont match up though. But if you put spade connectors on the harness for the fogs and somehow connect wires to the switch, it will work.

Re: depo foglights? (BlueIntegraBoy)
what im really lookin for is a write up on where to plug the wires into, the switch came spliced into the harness, but other than that the wires on the inside of the car are a loss to me. i have the blue and black wires spliced into the foglights themselves, and the one black wire comeing from the harness in the engine bay grounded. and another underthe dash. the blue wire is coming trough the firewall. then there is a relay, switch, and (the most confusing) are a red and white wire that come out next to the steering wheel when the harness is placed where it needs to be. thanks for the response

Does it have a brown single pin connector? This one goes to the fusebox.
I believe fuse #19 is the headlight. So it will only get power when your headlights are on IF you put it in slot #2 (2nd from the right). If you want your fogs to turn on whenever you push the button, connect to slot #5, all the way to the left.

I'm pretty sure those go to the accessory slots on your fusebox. If they don't fit in the slots. Cut off the connectors and use female spade connectors.</TD></TR></TABLE>
my egay harness came with a female spade connector, worked well for me.
