depo 99-00 fog lights help (already searched)
i have a set of fogs from JDMSHIT.com. they are made by "Depo" i know i should have gotten the honda oem one, but oh well i got them as a gift. i hooked everything up right and everytime i press the fog light on switch i hear clicking noise from the relay that came with the fogs. The light on the switch lights up and everything, but the lights dont. i tried everything i cant seem to find the problem. im thinking its the crappy aftermarket fogs. do i need a new relay? i checked the fuse. its fine. can i use a OEM honda fog light relay? if so where can i find it? thanks

Well I wired up some Depo fog lights on my friends eg and they did the same thing. Look for a long red wire that has a ring terminal at the end. It looks like a grounding cable, but we hooked it up to the positive on the battery and it worked.

Re: depo 99-00 fog lights help (CIVIC dude)
alright heres what i did. the instructions that came with it were in japanese and didnt look very good at all. so i searched here on hondatech and got the honda oem fog light instructions. i followed everything what the oem honda book said. turns out there not the same! well so i tore everything apart again. and i try to figure out what went where. the hardest part was making the holes in the bumper. i didnt like how it looked after i cut up my new oem bumper i just got repainted as well. so i connected that "RED wire" that came with the kit. that was a power wire i thought it was a ground wire. dont follow the oem honda instructions word for word, read it and get an idea of what to do. n then u can figure it all out. hopes this helps someone in the future.
