Del Sol Aux light problem

Del Sol Aux light problem
Ok..so finally ended up with a pair of AUX lights for my sol, and suddenly when I click the button on, the switch doesn't even light up, and the lights do not work. Checked the fuse, its fine. 2 months ago the switch would just light up at least even when there were no lights installed..any help would be appreciated!
