Del Sol after 20 min of driving turns off, main relay already replaced
Hello everyone i have a 1993 Del Sol SI with a stock 1.6L and manual tranny. The car this summer when hot was sometime experiencing a low idle but nothing serious and it only happened once in a great while so im not sure if its even related. The other day, tempt in the 60's the car was running fine and after about 20 minutes of driving it without warning turned off and would not restart as if it was out of gas. I let it sit over night and it started up perfectly but after 20 minutes repeated the same problem. I replaced the MAIN RELAY and well 20 minutes later it shut off as if well driving i simply turned the key. Maybe its a fuel problem or spark or MAFS but have not had a chance to check it out. So are there any peeps out there or mechanics with suggestions :-)
Thanks
Thanks

first thing that comes to mind since the relay has been replaced is potentially a faulty ignition switch.

If when the engine stalls, the dash warning lights turn on then have the igniter unit/ICM tested. If the dash warning lights are off when the engine stalls, then check the ignition switch.
