There's nothing you can do... maybe carry a towel and wipe the windows.

clean your inside glass with Isopropyl alc.. The **** left behind is what causes the fog to linger and build up... or just use HOT *** heater

the AC helps because it removes moisture from the air. The air going over your cooling coil drops it's temperature below it's dew point. Thsi causes moisure to drop out of the air (condensate you see under your car on a hot day when you have the AC on). Once the air is "dried" it goes up to your window where the dry air picks up the moisture from your window. If you have the heat on it'll get warmed up again before it hits your window, but it's still dry air. This is why your AC comes on automatically (in my 00 Si at least) when you switch over to the windshield defrost mode. Works wonders. I love my AC and would never get rid of it.

Defogging is the only thing that I use my A/C for actually, and I would never go without it again. My first car was a 2nd gen jetta, and there was no A/C control, it automatically came on with the defrost and cool settings. I thought it sucked at first, having the A/C on all the time, but after seeing how well it worked, I just couldn't live without it.

On my 00 EX, it comes on automatically to, but it can be overridden by hitting the switch. I don't think you can do that with the 7th gen models though.

I've used that crap before. I thought it actually made things worse. That and it's a bitch to get back off your window.

Keep the window cleaned. The more dirt/fingerprints on the windshield the more the fogging effect is amplified. Frequently clean your windshield with windex and use the defroster with air coming in from the outside, should have no problems

I have no a/c and in my eg. All you have to do is push the fresh air button which is air from outside the car put the temp on cold and turn up the fans to like 3 or 4 and it should start working, bad thing is that it starts to get cold so just turn down the fan once its clear.

put some shampoo on a rag, and wipe the inside of your windshield with it. then wipe it off with a clean rag. fog no more. works like a charm, it's an old ice hockey trick they'd do to keep their helmet's from fogging up.

i ripped my ac out, did that, and haven't seen fog since.

i took out my AC cuz it was busted. i dont have much problem with my windshield fogging up. if its bad, i crack the window a bit, then set the blower on cold full blast. then i slowly turn up the temp till its keeping the windsheild heated (and therefore fog free).

Get window visors and just crack the window a lil when it rains. That way, no rain will get in.

yeah, I got the window visors so I can crack my windows, also when its cold and the inside fogs just put your car on full heat and outside air, when you heat the air it drops the % humidity so no fog.

Not really. Hot air expands and gives it more area to suck up moisture. Sorry I'm **** about my heating and AC stuff.

i just turn the heat all the way up. it takes longer than A/C to clear the windshield, but it gets rid of it in about 5-10 minutes.
