you're looking more for consistancy than high numbers.
look for 160+ and no more than 15 PSI between cylinders.

i think so. my friend swears that not holding the throttle open wont make a diffrence. im sure hes wrong. what would happen to the readings if its done w/o holding open the throttle?

i did it without and i had absolutely amazing numbers on an old integra of mine.
cant hurt to hold throttle open, so do it. remember to pull ecu fuse if so equipped.

my friend said before he swaped his motor he had 60 across the block on each cylinder. he said it wasnt accelerating as fast but it still drove. what do you think would give him 60 to 65 on each cylinder?

What happens if you dont pull the ECU fuse?
I just did a comp test on my wifes 95 Civic.. I disconnected the injectors, removed all the plugs, and laid the plug wires to the side. Checked all the cylinders.. which checked out ok... but when I put everything back together the car wont start. Checked for spark.. no spark.
Did I just fry the ECU? I checked all my fuses and nothing was popped.
Thanks.
