Results of my D16Z6 compression test. Comments welcome
Well I checked my compression today and this is what I found.
1994 Civix EX D16Z6 95,000 miles
(Facing motor counting from left to right)
#1 210
#2 185
#3 192
#4 190
I tested them all twice and got the same numbers.
The plugs looked pretty normal I think. A little white on the arm (with a TOUCH of red in the middle) and the black electrode was worn down more on the side closest to the arm (sorry about my lack of technical terminology).
So, what does this stuff mean? My book says standard compression is 184 with a max variation of 28. Is there something further that I should investigate with those readings that I got, or am I ok?
Thanks for the time
