D16Z6 mismatched cam gear
alright, ive searched and found 3 threads with 3 different answers. (non Honda-tech)
anyway, my Z6 has a PM3 cam gear (D16A6 I think), one thread said all D series are the same and I think that's not true,
one said they are all different, again I feel its not true.
the third said the A6 and Z6 are the same but the Y8 is physically the same with different timing marks.
can anyone confirm any of these three?
I know the gears are the same from the a6 and z6 but im not sure about the timing marks.

Re: D16Z6 mismatched cam gear
88-95 use the same cam gear that is marked PM3. It has two markings for timing. I believe that the 1.6 engines and 1.5 VTEC engines use the "7 o'clock" marking while the remaining 1.5 non-VTEC engines use the two that are supposed to be leveled with the head.
The 96-00 has its own cam gear and is clocked a few degrees differently than the older 88-95 cam gear.
