D16z6 intake manifold on d16y7?
My buddy is trying to attempt to do this conversion himself. We searched with not many definate results, so any positive feedback is appreciated. Obviously this is a basic bolt on but what sensors are used? Also are there any modifications necassary?

if the y7 is ib a 96+ civic he will have to use the y7 TB since the IAC is built in and it is 3wire ,and the Z6 is a 2 wire.. u cannot convert them either on the obd2 computer...just swap the y7 TB on the Z6 mani, u will have to extend the wires some ,, As the air temp sensor that is in the air tube u can plug that into the factory sensor in the z6 mani

That's all the info i have. I am researching this right now and have most of the work almost finished. ReDHaTcHyGuy comment is correct. You will need a chippable obd1 ECM and a conversion harness. Mine will be different from yours cause it's also a boost project. I' ll be finished this week hhopefully.
