Default y8 intake manifold vs z6

right now i am running a d16z6 with it's intake manifold, i was just wondering if there would be any noticebale hp/tq gains using a y8 intake manifold??? i've herd from both sides that yes it's good no it's not good.

will all the sensors from my z6 fit onto the y8? and the only thing that i am worried is the IAT that is used in the z6 because its located in the manifold itself. unlike the y8 where it's located on the intake tube?

any suggestions or comments would be great!!

I didn't notice a difference between the manifolds, to put a y8 mani in a car that has a z6 mani you'll need an obd2 iat sensor that goes in the intake arm and to extend the wires to it, the evap purge wont have a place to screw on but will still work, youll need a 96-00 fuel rail and youll need to extend your fuel return line or use the bracket on the f96+ fuel rail if its still there
