d16z6 or d16y8 on a 92 cx hatch?
Is it worth getting d16y8 and converting it into obd1 instead of d16z6? The reasons why i want a d16y8 is because of the steel fork tranny and the intake manifold. This is going into a 1992 civic cx. d16y8 or d16z6?

yes that is true...but it'll take lots of time finding the items.

just go with the Z6 since it will swap in easier with less hassle. the tranny shouldnt matter unless you drive the **** outta it.
just regular maintenance and your good to go

it not that much of a big deal to convert the y8 to obd1. just need an obd1 distributor and injectors. easy to do. im running the y8 as obd1 in my 93 cx and it runs nice
