d16y8 into 95 civic dx wiring ?s
swapping a d16y8 in a 95 dx using dx harness. there are some plugs on the enigne that arent connected. I want to know what they need to be plugged in.
first the i'm sure is the crank sensor that i am 98% sure i dont need. right?
next, sensor on the fuel rail connected to the manifold leads back underneath the manifold.
sensor on the back of the manifold under the tps.
last of all, two plugs from the harness. one connected to a little black cannister on the back of the manifold via a vaccum line on the d15. and another that was directly below above mentioned plugged directly into a connection on the back of the manifold on the d15.

1. D16Y8 with a P2P uses the crank sensor. Check again.
2. That's the purge valve going to your evap canister.
3. Looks like an FITV - fast idle thermo valve - found on auto D16Y8 throttle bodies. That can be ignored.
4a. That looks remotely like your IAT - intake air temp sensor, but not exactly. Not sure on that one.
4b. That looks like the plug for your MAP sensor.
