Dont believe so there from 96-00 i believe running obd2a/ obd2b i own a 97 dx and its obd2a So no they arnt. 96-98 is obd2a and 99 - 00 is obd2b

nope...OBD2, its actually, 96-98 motors are OBD2a and 99-00 are OBD2b

D16Z6 are the OBD1 versions.

All depends on what you are planing on doing with the motor, there both around the same. just obd stuff.

ok.. i have a 98 civic ex right now and im about to get the LS longblock.. then im buyin a b16a head because it flows better than the b18c head... then im getting the b16a transmission because its shorter gears.. now i was just wonderin what engine harness would be best to run with this modification.. ? thank u.

your harness is fine, you just have to add some wires. there is a thread about it in the FAQ.

BTW: I see your in OKC, good to see someone else in this redneck city, you interested in autocrossing???
