Default Need Help::d16y7 motor working lean

( D16y7, 98 honda civic) hey i risently diognosed my car since i noticed the engine check go on, i got the car like a month ago and the engine light wasnt on then. the engine also has 300Km on it. so after diognocing the car we figured out that the engine is working lean. so i now know that theres not enoght fuel going in the engine so its working lean.
i wanted to know if this has hapend to anyone here and wat they did to fix this problem. \

now im wondering if i should change my fuel filter, and my ingectors or one of them at least.

i did some searching and this is what i found for the code you mentioned.

P0710 Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor Circuit Malfunction

if the car has 300k on it you'll probably want to replace a few things like fuel/air filters, belts, fluids and check any other parts that might need replacement. that code however has nothing to do with the fuel system.

what i would do is check the tranny temp sensor. and then possibly the wiring. but its most likely the sensor. go take one off a tranny in the junkyard. pm me with any questions

my bad. it was 0791 which means engine working lean.

where should I start the trouble shooting process from

search function is down at the moment. but if p0791 stands for lean mix. then...
check the fuel filter. if youve never changed it its probably time to. also do you have any vacuum leaks?
