d16y7 into a eg hatch, which harness?
I'm trying to get a d17y7 down in a eg hatch (i know nothing special). I'm aware its a obd1 car and the y7 is an obd2a. This is what i have to work with,...so it is what it is..
I'm wondering which harness I could use and if I could use the y7 harness somehow.
I could get my hands on a z6 harness but if I do that I need an alternator, dizzy jumper and harness jumper.
Does anyone know the easy way of getting this thing done?
I'm also planning on using a y8 intake manny
Thanks for the help...its much appreciated
I have this bitch strung all over the garage as I type..

you'll have to use an OBD1 civic harness, using a D16Z6 harness is kind of a waste though D15B7('94 - '95 only unless you have a a '92 - '93, then it doesn't matter)/D15B8 harness would be ideal. Use either an OBD1 intake manifold, or one from a manual D16Y8. use OBD1 injectors, and a D15B7/D16Z6/D16Y8 exhaust manifold and downpipe.

Like what 94EG8 said, pretty much any obd1 civic harness will work *I'm not sure about the VX (1 wire o2). You'll have to run; obd1 injectors, alternator, dizzy, and maybe a different header *if you were thinking about running the y7 header(I believe it's shorter then most d-series headers)* If you do that, everything should be plug-n-play. Good luck.

thats kinda what I was thinking...The acura harness is abit hard to come by so I guess I'll go the d15 harness/injectors/alternator/dizzy using only one bolt I presume?
