Default easy question.

I know you can use an integra harness in an eg civic....Question is, can you use a civic harness in an integra..?

I am trying to finish up my wifes 4dr teg, i am having no luck finding a gsr harness locally, but i do have a obd1 civic vtec harness. Its a 95 teg and a 99 jdm b18c. Thanks..i'll be happy and pissed if you can use a civic harness!

you really have no idea what you are talking about do you?

I am looking for info from someone with general knowledge of obd1 harnesses- My searches aren't netting good results!

Like i said, i know you can use a obd1 GSR harness in an EG hatch, but can you use an EG harness (vtec, obvioulsy) in a GSR Integra?

*edit* i know its a goofy *** question- i was told it wouldn't work?

on obd1 harness to a ob1 teg 92-95 you could use it
you might have to add wire to reach solenoid
and dont forget that the crank poss sensor on obd1 is in the distributor
not only that the gsr engine you are using is obd2 the sensor is in at the
crank.
not only that you have no secondary butterfly connections.

everything is obd1, i used gsr dist and injectors.

i just can't figure out why the gsr harness has the fourth little plug with two wires and the eg just has the three plugs. (referring to main plugs on shock tower, passenger side) what is this plug and where do these wires need to be repositioned? I guess thats what i should have asked, huh.

Are you saying that the Integra has 4 plugs instead of three? In my case my 92 civic hatchback had four plugs and the GSR harness I used had only three.. A few of the wires from the 4th plug had to be repositioned into one of the remaining 3 plugs..

I cant tell you exactly what the wires in your 4th plug do but if you check out the ecu pinout you will be able to find out by tracing the wire colors...

http://tech2.hybridgarage.com/..._obd1

Then you will have to see what wires from the engine harness correspond to the ones on the 4th plug of the body harness.

Hope that helps
