I have searched this site, Clubsi and google and have not found the answers to my questions.

Anybody have experience dropping a d16a6 into a 95 Del Sol S? What does it require?

I have a d16a6 in a 93 CX that I also purchased a few months ago. I currently have a d15xx in my Sol and would really like a cheap power boost. I am swapping a GSR into the 93 in a few month thus freeing up the d16a6 for anything I want.

Suggestions???

Edit: I plan on running lower-end boost with this setup. I am keeping the tranny (p20/A000) as I understand taller gears are better with boost.

Swaping the d16a6 into the Sol shouldn't be a problem because they're basically the same car; same generation, just different body, really. Don't quote me on it, though.

One other piece of info, the d16a6 in my 93 cx was a swap from the guy I bought it from.

I see a couple of different series of years for the d16a6. How do I tell what year range mine is from?

Instead of looking for a swap into a del Sol, look for a swap into a 5g Civic; it's the same as your '95 Sol.
