d16 question
is there some kind of d16z6 that is not the sohc vtec motor and just a sohc it is out of a 93 del sol i thought that all z6 are vtec but people told me it wasnt vtec, thanks

there is no such thing(to my knowledge and could be wrong) as a non-vtec z6. i know there is a single cam zc (d16a6) as some people call it. the d16y7 has spark plugs on the front of the valve cover like the vtec motors but look on the block and read the stamp and on the intake mani for a vtec solenoid.
