You will need to check your mechanical timing.

The Y7 head has a 3.75 degree difference in cam key compared to the B7. As such, the marks on the cam pulley do NOT align with the default marks of the B7.

If you mechanical timing appears to be set to stock B7 specifications, the cam is actually half a tooth off from where it should be.

HOW would I exactly turn it half a tooth and which direction towards front or towards firewall?

Idle and running under load are two different things. Don't believe me, turn your ignition timing off by 5 degrees. Will idle fine and crap out under load.

Anyways, to adjust for half a tooth, you swap the cam gear for an adjustable or the one not belonging to the head (B7 cam gear).

With the adjustable meant for the head, you will have proper mechanical timing marks while it's adjusted half a tooth out. With using the opposite cam gear method, your mechanical timing marks will not match stock specifications.

For additional information regarding this issue please search for Y8/B7 minime. It's pretty well documented.

As for advanced or retarded by half a tooth, I don't remember, sorry.

I wasn’t saying you were wrong, just throwing out more info so if it made a difference in problem, I know about retarding a dizzy I had to on my Z6 for it to run properly, but thank you I’ll get a adjustable cam gear for it,
also I figured their might be a slight difference in Y7 and Y8 so I’ve always searched Y7 and nothing popped up, just don’t wanna mess it up just in case
but thank you for the information I’m gonna try and see what happens!

Deck height and cam key index is the same on the 96-00 Y7 and Y8.

The biggest difference is one is vtec with the extra lobe and head internals and one is not.

Oh and the other difference between the 92-95 OBD1 motors and the 96-00 OBD2 motors is ignition timing changed from 16* BTDC to 12* BTDC if I recall correctly.
