Default d15b7 overheating, need help please!!

hey guys wats up ill try to keep this short and please help! im open for suggestions. I have a d15b7 and today one of the hoses got a crack so i replaced it because i found out after my engine startin heatin up. after i replaced it and i started drivin my water temp gauge kept risin to about 3/4 and goin back down to the half way point so i hadda cruise my car in 5th gear around 40-50 mph back home. the whole way home my temp was around half way point, if i gave it any more gas to add a lil acceleration or wen i was goin over hills my temp got pretty hot and i hadda put my clutch in and wait for it to cool down, sometimes i hadda shut the car off for a while too. i checked my anti freeze though and it was still fine at the max point so i knew it cant be that. i had my heater runnin the whole time too as i think it helps keep the engine cool but im not positive just a thing my friend said. anyways i was thinkin it is either the radiator or the themostat but please help guys, anyone ever encounter this? i need some help as this is my only means of transportation and i need to get to school and work which is not close, ha. thanks guys!

Did it overheat before the radiator install?

I would try to bleed it.

Air in the lines
Positive of it IF your fans all work correctly.
Hopefully you didn't blow the head gasket
