he guys, I NEED HELP! overheating!
hey guys, i just got a 93 cx hatch abotu a week and a half ago. the previous owner changed the radiator and the hoses and all pretty much all that. but the other day my car started to overheat. so i brought it home and checked it out.
i came to a conclusion that he didnt change the thermostat, so the next day i changed it. and the gasket and it was pretty good. but after abotu an hour of driving, it started to overheat again. i checked the water/coolant, oil...pretty much everything i could think of, and i cant figure it out. and today i drove my car again. and it was fine, it started to go a little above the middle for about five minutes then it went down again. so i dont know what it could be!?
if you guys have anything to help me out with this , please do, cause i need this car to get me to work and school!!!!
please guys, anything would be appreciated!

Does the fan on the radiator turn on when engine gets hot. You might have a bad negative connection from the fan. Check the loom near the radiator to see if everything is plugged in OK, and that the negative lug on the loom is bolted to the chassis properly.

change the raidator cap and do a compression test, you could have a blown head gasket like the guy said. You could also check you block/head to see if it is leaking coolant
