Default D15b + y8 head mini me swap
Ok i have a jdm d15b (non vtec) in my 97 ek and last night i just picked up a y8 head. Im trying to figure out what ecu is going to be best for this, and i am thinking its going to be the p2p(d16y8) ecu. And also the d15b has a y8 intake manifold.

A p2p ecu might make it run a little rich but it should run fine. Does the d15b block have a knock sensor?

^um im not sure, bought the car with the swap in it. But i think its an obd2 engine

Chipped P28 with a jumper harness would be your best bet.

Socketed ecu? Call up xenocron...you can get a basemap for your setup for around $25 shipped.
