Mini Me y7/y8 swap to OBD1 hatch
The car previously had a a6 with a Vtec head. The car is a 92 hatch. Motor was removed. Now i found a y7 block with a y8 head and im planning on doing a mini me swap this weekend. The car is already setup for boost. Whats the best ECU to run? P28? I have the y8 intake mani already and everything i need i think. I believe the car is currently running a p08 and it was converted for Vtec. Anything i could be missing for this swap. Thanks in advance for the help, i appreciate all the help and feedback i get from this site.

A P08 is a vtec ecu, the P28 would be the ideal replacement, as that motor shares similar properties to the D16Z6.

Matt, it's a P06 that's already been programmed for VTEC and you're swapping the car over to OBD1 anyways...
