d15b VTEC swap ~ HELP!!!
I just bought a d15b vtec motor for my 94 CX, and I know I have to swap the entire wiring harness over, but do I have to get one for a 92-95 Si or EX, or could I get one from an EK like for instance a 96 EX? and what computer do I use? my friend said something about a P72 from an integra would fit, but all this stuff is too complicated so I'd appreciate any advice!

try and get an obd1 harness. if you get one out of an EK you're going to have to deal with a bunch obd2 BS and a lot of the plugs won't even match up with your motor.

you want the p08 ecu for best performance, or something chipped to a custom program.. if you want the po8 ecus i have them.

Re: d15b VTEC swap ~ HELP!!! (egizzle6)
alright, I have a 95 ex harness that i planned on using for my crx. Im swapping out my stock dx motor (dpfi) for a d15b vtec. However, none of the plugs on the ex harness match up to the wiring that goes through the firewall. Do i need that part of the harness too? Is there a conversion harness or anything. Please help!

go with the 92 or an ex harness, nice and clean, tape it up, etc, and grab yourself a virgin p28. Good luck on your swap, and don't forget to clean/paint that engine bay, engine out makes it easyer
