Default d15b swap into vx civic dizzy question.

I own a 1992 vx civic and want to buy a d15b engine for it I have just found one for sale but without a dizzy. So I am wondering do I need this dizzy for the engine swap or is the original one ok. the original engine was a 1500 vtec_e.

Thanks

When you say D15B, you mean the Vtec one? Anyhow, IIRC, the VX dizzy is the same as the Z6 dizzy. So... yes you can reuse your old dizzy. Someone will chime in to confirm

I can confirm that your vx dizzy will work fine on the d15b. You can use your original vx manifolds, but I would highly recommend upgrading to a z6 or y8 intake manifold, since they can be bought for so cheap now a days. The stock vx manifold ports and plentium are tiny, and the throttle body is like 50mm, haha

More like 35ish, horrible lol. Also, wouldn't the 5 wire o2 interfere with the swap?
