Default d15b swap in a 92 CX

so im thinkin about purchasing a swap from HMO. i know im wired for Vtec so all i need is a ECU? and i should get a EX/SI tranny cause the CX is god aweful.

Yes all you should need is an ECU, be aware that you should probably just get yours chipped for the D15B motor as it is cheap, and opens alot of doors for you later on, $100 from http://www.phearable.net Using a JDM D15B ECU may screw up all sorts of things.

And yes, you should get an EX/SI Tranny cause the CX trans is geared with the sole intention of getting the best MPG possible, and take as long as possible to do so.

get the d15b and use the p28 ECU...the D15B has a one wire o2 sensor so you will need to use the 4 wire sensor, which is the one for the p28 ECU plus it will make it easier when you decide to change o2 sensors because you can go to the nearest parts store instead of trying to source the JDM one.

good point dasfinc....have them chip the ECu and have them run the p08 maps, these maps work best with the d15b
