From here you'll need a tranny, D16Z6 (92-95 EX/Si) or D16Y8 (96+ EX) tranny. Don't quote me on the D16Y8 tranny, not sure if it bolts up. You'll want the EX/Si tranny due to the shorter gearing for more acceleration.

You'll also need a computer. From the threads I've read on, the P28 was used. Don't quote me on this one either.

Others can chime in who've done this swap already.

the 92 cx comes with a d15b8 (crap) if you are buying a jdm d15b do yourself a favor and get the tranny to because the cx tranny sucks. you can use all of your stock motor mounts for the swap and your stock axles. and if you wanted you could use the POS tranny too. personally i drove my cx around for a year before the swap trying to think of a new and exciting way to blow it up. so i found a friend with a nitrous bottle. no jets just a hose KABOOM YAY! d15b now

the y8 tranny will work

I haven't done my own swap. I know I can in probably a day with EVERYTHING I need, but you might run into issues if you forget ****. It's not that hard, especially the D15B swap.
